Our mission is to improve the homes and lives of US military veterans and their families.

Too many of our veterans and their families are facing major challenges worst housing, problems such as unemployment, old age and service-related disability. We go to the back for those who have already given so much for our country, dedicated.

Since 2011, we have spent more than $ 80 million to support the housing needs of veterans. In addition, our employees bring their own time and talents to make a difference for veterans in local communities through Team Depot, our employee volunteers led force.

We have already reached more than 13,000 housing units for veterans, and we're not going to stop any time soon!

The challenges

Statistics show that many veterans face severe housing needs, sometimes because of a combat injury disability or because they are particularly affected by the economy and partly because they can not all just not find affordable housing.

• An aging population: 9000000 older veterans, many on fixed incomes
• Disability: 14% of all veterans have service-related disabilities.
• Low income: about 1.4 million veterans live in poverty.
• Homelessness: Statistics show that veterans are twice as likely as those homeless

   who have not served. Veterans account for 8% of the total population, but they
   account for 16% of the homeless.

   programming language.
• Education level: Nearly 33% of young veterans have an associate or

   bachelor's degree, compared to 27% of non-veterans youth.
